Shonna is the founder of Bright Sky Aesthetics and a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of clinical experience in North Carolina’s largest nonprofit hospital system. Her approach to aesthetics is rooted in anatomy, safety, and clinical precision, helping patients age with confidence and intention rather than chasing trends.

Melina Clark
Lead Esthetician, Waxing Specialist
Melina is a Licensed Esthetician at Bright Sky Aesthetics known for creating refined, customized skincare experiences that prioritize both results and relaxation. With a thoughtful, detail-driven approach, Melina focuses on treatments that truly support skin health while making every client feel genuinely cared for.

Wenli Lebel
Marketing Assistant, Front Desk
Wenli is Bright Sky Aesthetics’ Social Media and Marketing Assistant, and the owner of Holy Strawberry Marketing. She also helps at the front desk three days a week and supports key practice coordinator duties, making her a familiar, welcoming face for clients both online and in the office. Known for her warm energy and calm competence, Wenli has a genuine “nothing I can’t do” approach that keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Dorie Sykes
Front Desk, OG Practice Coordinator
Dorie is Bright Sky Aesthetics’ original Practice Coordinator and remains a valued part of the team in a part-time role. She currently works the front desk during our open weekends and provides essential support for key coordinator duties, providing continuity, experience, and a familiar, welcoming presence for clients.

Permanent Makeup Artist, Licensed Esthetician
Stephanie is the owns and operates Opal & Ink Makeup Studio and in collaboration with Bright Sky Aesthetics, offering permanent makeup and professional makeup services under her own brand. A very experienced licensed esthetician with advanced skills in skin and beauty services, she will soon offer select esthetic treatments here at Bright Sky, bringing added versatility and expertise to the practice.
